I noticed my outdoor spigot was dripping and wouldn’t fully shut off, and with temperatures expected to ... dip below zero over the next few days, I was genuinely worried about a frozen pipe and a burst line. I called Roto-Rooter hoping someone could help quickly—and I was so relieved when you were able to send Jack Reidy to my home within about an hour. Jack was excellent. He assessed the problem right away, explained what needed to be done, and got to work immediately. He not only replaced the outdoor spigot, but also improved the setup by installing a shutoff valve on the waterline—an upgrade that gives me peace of mind going forward. The work was completed efficiently (in under an hour), and everything was left neat and in great working order. Jack was professional, pleasant, and clearly very skilled. Thanks to him (and your fast response), I can go to bed tonight without worrying about freezing and water damage. Good afternoon, My name is Stephen Carrick, I am the Director of Facilities at the Trudeau Institute in Saranac Lake. I am sending you this email to express my sincerest appreciation for ... the efforts your company, specifically your technician Dave Morin, made in resolving a very challenging sewer blockage we encountered on Wednesday. I called your office somewhat panicked on Wednesday morning reporting that the main sewer for one of our buildings was completely blocked and sewerage was starting to back up into our first-floor spaces. Your service coordinator let me know that you probably would not be able to get to us until later in the afternoon. We were very happy to see your truck show up at 11:00, much earlier than originally communicated. Your tech Dave immediately hit the ground running. This was a very difficult blockage to locate, our building is very old and documents are difficult to find and not necessarily up to date. Dave was determined and stuck with us for several hours scoping, snaking, tracing and researching. He never gave up and perhaps even more impressive he remained cheerful, polite and very positive the entire time. Eventually we found an old access panel in the floor of a packed seldom visited closet, 20 minutes later and the sewer was flowing.
